There is a chance they could finish top of the log if matches elsewhere turn out in their favour, but the Stormers are not looking at the log permutations as they go into their penultimate Super Rugby league fixture against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.
With two games to go, the Stormers still face different possible end scenarios. Whatever happens they will be in the top six and will be involved in the play-offs when they start two weeks from now, but there is still some doubt over when they will be brought into action during the knock-outs
